The keyboard has three green LED indicators for Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Windows Lock. The Windows Lock LED turns on when the Windows key is disabled, preventing accidental interruptions during gaming.

Simply connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided 1.8m USB cable. The device is plug-and-play with no additional drivers required.

The keyboard features multiple RGB lighting modes, which can be cycled through using FN + (1-8) keys. Each mode offers a unique lighting effect, such as continuous flow, breathing, and color diffusion.

The brightness can be controlled using FN + PGUP (to increase brightness) and FN + PGDN (to decrease brightness). The keyboard supports four brightness levels, allowing customization based on preference.

The keyboard has five dedicated multimedia keys for quick access to media controls: Play/Pause, Stop, Mute, Volume Up, and Volume Down. These keys allow seamless control of audio and video playback without interrupting gameplay or workflow.

Macro keys allow users to store and execute a sequence of keypresses with a single key. This helps in gaming and productivity by automating repetitive actions and improving response time.

Press Fn + Macro (Scroll Lock) until the indicator flashes. Enter the desired key sequence (up to 16 characters) and then press the macro key (M1–M6) to save it. The indicator will stop flashing once the macro is stored.

Press Fn + Macro (Scroll Lock) until the indicator flashes, then press the macro key (M1–M6) that you want to clear. The indicator will stop flashing, confirming that the macro has been erased.

Press and hold Fn + R for 3 seconds to reset all macro keys to their original F1–F6 assignments. This will also restore the backlighting to the FN+1 default mode.

In addition to macro programming, you can adjust other functions:

• Backlight & Brightness: Controlled via FN keys.
• Direction Switching: Toggle between WSAD and arrow key functions by pressing FN + W.
  

Anti-ghosting ensures that multiple key presses are accurately registered, even when pressed simultaneously, preventing missed inputs during gameplay. The EvoFox DeathRay V2 Pro supports 19-key anti-ghosting for critical gaming keys, including Q, A, Z, W, S, X, E, D, C, B, Space, Arrow keys, Tab, Alt-L, Shift-L, and Ctrl-L, ensuring precise input during intensive gaming sessions.

The Windows Lock function prevents accidental interruptions during gaming by disabling the Windows key. This ensures that pressing the key does not minimize the game or open the Start menu. Additionally, it can lock both the Windows key and APP keys for an uninterrupted gaming experience.

Press FN + WIN-L to lock the Windows key. Press FN + WIN-L again to lock both the Windows key and APP keys. Press once more to unlock. An LED indicator confirms when the function is active.

• Verify that the keyboard is securely connected via the USB cable.
• Check if any function locks (like the Windows Lock) are active.
• If necessary, disconnect and reconnect the cable or restart your computer.

• Ensure you are using the correct sequence (FN + Macro [Scroll Lock] then the macro key).
• Clear any unwanted macros by repeating the process or restore factory settings by holding FN + R for 3 seconds.

• Cycle through the backlit modes using FN+1 to FN+8.
• Adjust brightness using FN+PGUP/PGDN.
• Ensure the USB port provides sufficient power.

The keyboard is powered through a USB connection and does not require batteries or external power sources. Simply plug it into a USB port to use it.

Since it is a wired keyboard, it remains active as long as it is connected to a powered USB port.

To maintain the keyboard’s performance, connect it to a stable USB port, avoid excessive force on keys, and keep the device clean. The braided cable ensures durability, but handling it carefully will extend its lifespan.
