Warranty Policy
All Amkette products come with a performance warranty that covers any defects from the original purchase date. If a product turns out to be faulty due to material or workmanship during the warranty period, Amkette will repair or replace the product at its sole discretion. However, if the product malfunctions due to third-party software installed by the customer or other reasons, no warranty is provided.
Each Amkette product has a specific warranty period that can be found on the product page under "specifications." The warranty allows the purchaser to have the product repaired or replaced under certain conditions:
During the warranty period, Amkette will replace defective parts or products with new or serviceable ones free of charge. However, the company's responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing defective parts or products during the warranty period. Amkette is not responsible for any direct, incidental, consequential, or other damages of any kind. If any service is availed of on a chargeable basis or for an out-of-warranty product, the charges must be paid in advance at the Amkette Care Centre. Please contact customer care for repair costs. To avail of the warranty service, the original proof of purchase must be provided.
The following are not covered under the warranty:
A. Any physical damage.
B. Damages, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from:
- Unauthorized repair attempts by anyone not authorized by Amkette.
- Removal or defacing of the product's serial numbers or warranty seal.
- Use of the product within an improper or inappropriate operating environment.
- Damage or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Software or data loss during repair or replacement or during usage of the product.
- Failure of the owner to perform periodic product maintenance as stated in the User Guide / Quick Start Guide.
- Accessories external to the system.
- Claims for missing software or accessories not reported within three working days after purchase.
- Accidents, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
The limitation of liability under the "Lifetime Warranty" implies that the product is reliable and free from known defects, and Amkette will repair or replace defective parts without charge under certain conditions for the expected life of the product. The expected life of the product is defined according to its expected use and the life of the components. As per this, certain Audio cables & HDMI cables are defined as having a life of 3 years, and the "Lifetime Warranty" is covered for this period only.
The limitation of liability under the "Warranty against manufacturing defects" allows the purchaser to have the product replaced at no charge if a manufacturing defect is reported within 30 days of purchase. After the first 30 days, any defects in workmanship will not be covered by the warranty.
The limitation of liability under the "Limited Warranty" means that, except for the warranties set forth herein, Amkette disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
